Fantasy Football

Fantasy Football is growing bigger and bigger each season, and its no longer the normal season long leagues that people are participating in. Daily Fantasy Leagues from websites like Fanduel and Draft Kings are taking over.

Daily Leagues give a fantasy football player the option to have a new team each week, and that is very appealing. This makes the player not worry about bye weeks, injuries, and it just allows them to play around with new lineups each and every week.

These sites are 100% legal becuase it is person vs. person, not person, vs. Fanduel or Draft Kings. Payment is made through a PayPal account, which is one of the safest online paymnet methods out there. So look for these kind of sites to not die off in the near future, but to prosper and grow bigger and bigger each year.

Ugly Loss

The 4-7, now 5-7 New Orleans Saints came into Heinz field yesterday afternoon and routed the Pittsburgh Steelers by a final score of 35 to 32. (The score made the game seem A LOT closer than in actully was)

Drew Brees had one of his better games in a long time against the Pittsburgh defense, throwing for 5 touchdowns and 0 interceptions. He picked a part the Steeler secondary all day long. Saints running back Mark Ingram also pitched in a 100+ effort on the ground against the Steeler D.

The good news is that the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns also lost yesterday, two of the teams that Pittsburgh is in competition with for the postseason.

So after this loss, what do you think the 7-5 Pittsburgh Steelers chances are of playing past the regular season this year?

Japan Series

Americans that are part of Major League Baseaball recently traveled to Japan to play them in the 2014 MLB All-Stars vs. Nippon Professional Baseball, Japan Series.

This year, for the first time in the series history, Japan used their national team Samurai Japan to represent them in the series. Some consider this series, especially for Japan, a tune-up for the 2017 World Baseball Classic.

The MLB All-Stars were not represented by most of the leagues true stars, but they did have many notbale names on the roster. Smaurai Japan ended up winning the series 3 games to 2 with outfielder Yuki Yanagita being named series MVP.

Here were the rosters for both the MLB All-Stars and Samuari Japan

Bizarre Bus Incident

Two Washington Redskins team buses were involved in a crash with each other this morning on their way to the Viking's Stadium, to play Minnesota today at 1 p.m. The crash was a result of the front bus, which was carrying Washington players and coaches, missing an exit and stopping. This then caused the second bus to slam into the back front bus. Nobody was severely injured and the game started on time, but several Redskins players were a bit shaken up. Washington ended up losing the game 29 to 26 to the Vikings.

Washington wide receiver Pierre Garcon tweeted out a photo with the incident. This was definitely something that you don't hear about everyday, but it was good to hear that everyone involved is okay.

Manning vs. Brady

Two of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL are currently facing off on national television and like myself, I'm sure everyone is watching.

Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are both household names. Manning is on the verge of breaking almost every record that a quarterback can break, and Tom Brady is still playing like he is in his mid-20s.

The debate will always rage on. Who is the better all-time quarterback, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady? Brady is known for being clutch, his strong arm, and the ability to win in the postseason. Manning is known for big yardage and touchdown games, but also his struggles in the cold and windy weather.

Personally in a must-win game I am taking Brady, but what about you? Which quarterback would you want on your team?
